Therapy that can move between languages
A Mandarin session is not simply an English session with different words. Family experiences, migration, identity and emotion can carry different meanings in each language. You can speak Mandarin, English, or move between them. There is no need to translate every phrase or prepare a polished story.
Who I work with
I work with adults, young people aged 12 and over, and families. People may come with trauma or overwhelm, relationship patterns, ADHD or neurodivergence, and questions of identity, migration or belonging.
- In-person sessions in Wheelers Hill, Melbourne
- Telehealth across Australia
- Therapy in Mandarin and English
- Individual therapy, EMDR trauma treatment, and family conflict work where suitable
My professional role
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW #488174) and a Medicare provider. I am not a psychologist and do not provide formal psychological testing, medication management, court reports or crisis assessment. If another service is a better fit, I will say so.
Medicare and fees
With a valid GP Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral, eligible individual sessions may receive a Medicare rebate. A $180 individual session has a current rebate of $89.50, leaving $90.50 to pay. An eligible $220 individual EMDR session leaves $130.50 to pay. Eligible telehealth sessions for ages 12–24 may be bulk billed with no gap. Family sessions are $220 and do not attract the individual Medicare rebate.
We confirm the applicable item, eligibility and current rebate before booking.
What is EMDR?
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. It is a structured approach to working with distressing memories. Preparation, consent and pacing come first, and you can pause or stop at any time. I have completed EMDRAA-approved EMDR training, Levels 1 and 2. We discuss whether EMDR or another approach fits your needs before beginning.
How to begin
You can book an adult or eligible youth telehealth appointment through Halaxy, or send a brief enquiry if you are unsure where to begin. EMDR and family sessions begin with an enquiry so we can discuss suitability and arrangements.
Call 0404 817 722 or email info@integralhearttherapy.com.au. Please keep an initial enquiry brief and do not include detailed health information.
For GPs and referrers
GPs can refer through HealthLink EDI iheartth or the Halaxy GP referral form. Please use those secure pathways for clinical documents rather than the general website enquiry form.
Important limits
Integral Heart Therapy is not an emergency service. For immediate danger in Australia, call 000. For urgent mental health support, contact an appropriate crisis or emergency service.
